Professor Eliyahu Kelman - Senior Director
Prior
to his involvement with the Swiss British Fiduciary Trust Center, Professor Kelman was responsible for the international divisions
contracted to ITT and Remington. Professor Kelman’s responsibilities included spearheading joint venture activities with General
Dynamics in Korea. In addition, Professor Kelman has served as a consultant to international banks, governments, and nationalized
industries worldwide. His responsibilities included conceptualizing and providing advice for the creation of Eurojuice and its alliances
with several brand name products. Professor Kelman was appointed as Consul Honorary of the Dominican Republic to Jerusalem, Israel and
as Honorary Professor of Economics and Philosophy at the University of Santo Domingo, the oldest university in the Americas.
During the past three years eliyahu took a leading role in the creation of two of the leading public companies (Global Natural Resources and Flora EcoPower) in the establishment of biofuel crop projects in 5 countries. Together with a group of highly skilled professionals has developed R&D programs and major plantations of biocrops in africa and south america. Currently spearheading alternative energy power projects using cutting edge developments in the field. Is currently developing a unique energy bond bank guaranteed and sovereign securitised which will be made available to the financial community earl 2009 for the equity funding of the green enrgy power plants through SBFTC Fund Advisors.
Sascha A. Stanimirov - Director
As
an Independent Asset Manager, Mr. Stanimirov brings to SBFTC his financial expertise gained while working with several prominent asset
management companies and leading Swiss banks. He has served as a relationship manager for retail and corporate banking and a
relationship manager for asset management, investment, and private banking clientele. Mr. Stanimirov is proficiently fluent in German,
English and French.
Ido Raam - COO
Ido
Raam has joined the team at SBFTC as Business Development senior consultant.
His role is to develop new business opportunities for clients, negotiate strategic alliances, funding and act as a guide and facilitator in all aspects of these processes.
Mr. Raam has served as CEO and CFO of several high tech companies in Israel in medical device and software industry with subsidiaries in the US. Mr. Raam jointly led to over $15M private placement investments from world wide leading venture capital funds. Mr. Raam also served as marketing & sales director in the largest TV cable company in Israel and several managing positions of computer division at Israel Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Ido has taken an important role in his capacity as coo in Flora EcoPower during the establishment period and then in the same leading position with Global Natural Resources. He now brings his vast experience in developing energy projects as the COO of the SBFTC green energy division at Global Power Resources AG.
Jacob Levi - Finanace Director
Jacob
Levi has joined the team at SBFTC as International Business Director.
His role is to develop new International business opportunities for clients, negotiate strategic alliances, funding and acting as a guide and facilitator especially in finance projects.
Mr. Levi has served as Finance Director for large Communication Company (Barak) and Senior Economist of Finance and Banking at the largest mobile phone company (Celcom) in Israel. Previously, Mr. Levi served as the Treasurer of Orek Holding Group. Mr. Levi brings with him a vast experience with financing, budgeting, revenue assurances, banking, insurance, foreign currency management, investments analysis.
Mr. Levi earned a B.A. in Business Management from Ruppin Institute in Israel. He is fluent in Hebrew and English.
As financial controler of SBFTC Jacob acted as controler for all of the groups subsidiaries FEP and GNR. Jacob has played a major role in the restructure of the SBFTC group, the sale of the subsidiaries and the creation of the models for the power station acquisition program of Global Power Resources AG.
Naftali Grunfeld - CTO
Naftali joined the SBFTS as a CTO. His role is to lead the scientific and technology aspect in the group especially in renewable energy investments. Mr. Grunfeld has more then 25 years of engineering experience including 15 years of technological consulting for major leading Israeli financial institutes mainly the Israeli Chief Scientist in the Industry and Trade ministry. Mr Grunfeld brings with him a vast technological knowledge including technological investments analysis.
Mr. Grunfeld holds an MBA and a MSC from Tel Aviv University.
Shimshon Nir, MBA - International Banking
Shimshon
Nir is currently the chairman of several leading pension funds. Mr. Nir
has served as Chairman of the Board of the Lod City Economic Development
Corporation, in addition to assuming directorships on numerous Government
and Trade Union Organization and Corporate Boards. Mr. Nir was involved
in the creating and management of advanced study funds, and was responsible
for marketing and contacts with labor unions and representative labor
committees.
Manny Miller, MBA - board of advisors
Mr.
Miller is SBFTC’s investment advisor on behalf of an investment group
managing portfolios and stock offerings on the NASDAQ and OTC New York
Exchanges. Mr. Miller holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and
an MSC from Columbia University.
Deborah R. Srour - Senior Legal Counsel, LLB, MA
Deborah R. Srour joins the SBFTC group board of advisors as a senior Legal consultant. Deborah, who has a vast experience in international institutional and banking legal issues, including high level negotiations and sophisticated transactions. She acts on behalf of the SBFTC Group's institutional clients.
Deborah, is a graduate of the University of São Paulo law school with a Juries doctor in major in corporate and business law. She is admitted to the Brazilian Bar as well as to the New York State Bar practicing before the State and Federal Courts of that State; She has a Masters degree lato sensu (International law, Major in international contracts and trade) from the University of São Paulo and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a major in journalism.
This important addition to the SBFTC legal team brings a wide ranging experience which will benefit client operations on an international scale. A senior legal consultant on Anti-money laundering and legislation advising Governments, institutions and banks and representing clients in related issues; Senior General counsel for the largest privately held bank in New York - she negotiates contracts with vendors, investment funds, brokerage houses and other financial institutions. Partner and/or senior counsel of leading law firms in the United States and South America as well as a period of time working in the Gulf states including Kuwait and Dubai.
Deborah is multilingual speaking Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Arabic.
Mark Hess - Senior Legal Advisor
Mark Hess joined the SBFTC legal advisory team early 2005. Mark Hess focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation, corporate and partnership taxation, healthcare taxation, divorce taxation and tax-exempt entities in the United States.
Mr. Hess has more than 25 years of experience advising employers in the entertainment, banking, real estate, and healthcare fields and has substantive expertise in all areas of taxation.
Mr. Hess is a frequent speaker and lecturer on employee benefits, executive compensation, tax planning and tax controversy matters.
Avraham Kelman - Europe Business Development Director
AVRAHAM KELMAN has been appointed as a Director of New business Development in Europe. Avraham will lead SBFTC’s drive for expansion of the groups activities from its new base in London.
The main thrust will be creating strategic alliances and investment opportunities in the UK and Eastern Europe.
Having taken a key role in the development of strategy and business relationships within the group Avraham is well placed to spearhead the expansion of the groups client base for Tax and Legal as well as penetration into the financial communities at all levels.
